The City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in CCTV (PSS) will form part of the requirement needed to gain a SIA Licence to Practise for CCTV Operators (PSS). The Licence to Practise provides the candidate with the right to work within the CCTV industry, it is not a guarantee of work, but provides candidates with the basic knowledge and understanding of the industry.

The aims of this qualification are to:

  • Support Government initiatives towards the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
  • Allow candidates to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the CCTV sector
  • Contribute to the knowledge and understanding towards related Level 2 NVQ in Providing Security Services.

  • CCTV Surveillance Techniques
