City & Guilds (2886) Level 3 in Delivering Conflict Management Trainers Award
This qualification replaces the City & Guilds 1886 and aims to provide a qualification for individuals who wish to train others to deal with any types of violence in the workplace (e.g. teach C & G Level 2 Award in Conflict Management). It is a qualification that will equip you to train a wide range of workers, security operators, door supervisors and all those who interact face to face with fellow workers and the public.
This vocationally related award has been designed by City & Guilds to support government initiatives. It offers a flexible approach to provide individuals with the opportunity to achieve a qualification relevant to both their individual learning and business needs.
The City & Guilds (2886) Level 3 Delivering Conflict Management Trainers Award is linked to a knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) specification for the Security Licence to Practice. The qualification also maps to the essential knowledge and understanding of units within the Managing Workplace Violence National Occupational Standards (ENTO). The City & Guilds 2886 Level 3 Delivering Conflict Management Trainers Award is Qualification Curriculum Authority (QCA) accredited and is suitable for those individuals who wish to teach in the following areas:
- Security Guards and Public Area Personnel
- Customer Services Positions
- Bailiffs
- Door Supervisors
- Event and Entertainment Personnel
- Close Protection Personnel
The duration of the Conflict Management Trainers Award is 30 hours plus pre course assignment work.
Assessment is through a multi choice question paper (MCQP) and a scenario based observation.
