City & Guilds (1988) Physical Intervention Level 3 Trainers Award
Physical Intervention Skills may be required in some work environments to enable individuals to manage challenging behaviour safely. Depending on the risks identified within the workplace this can involve anything from avoidance to non-pain disengagement skills through to rescue, escorting and holding skills.
Licence to Practice in the Security Industry Course Compliant - by undertaking the City & Guilds Physical Intervention Level 3 Trainers Award you will be fully qualified to deliver the Level 2 Physical Intervention module.
To be eligible to deliver the Level 2 Physical Intervention module individuals must hold a Level 3 Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS) and a Level 3 Delivering Conflict Management Trainers Award.
Physical Intervention Trainers Pack – HZL will also provide all attendees on the course with a Level 2 Physical Intervention Trainers Pack to enable you to deliver the Level 2 modules.
The duration of the Physical Intervention Trainers Award is 35 guided learning hours (GLH).
Assessment is through the practical demonstration of skills and questions and answers.
